Good morning everyone. Today I am at A Femme D’Un Certain Age, along with Deja Pseu and Lily Lemontree. Exalted company, to be sure. We give you our thoughts on last minute presents for Christmas. Please join us there. S’il vous plait. I’m attempting to dredge up my vanishing French because A Femme lives in France. I know! How way cool is that! Read on when you arrive, because some of her posts feature illustrations of clothing she and a friend wear. Like this. Maybe even cooler than living in France.
Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. If you celebrate Christmas, and if you aren’t done shopping, don’t worry. I’m always last minute too. I believe there’s a place in this world for all of us, even the procrastinators. Joyeux Noel et Bonnes Vacances!

Yeah…just getting started. The last paycheck went straight to the repair shop for the car. Ugh. Spoiled car. She always wants her christmas present first.
Looking forward to reading your article- I also did one for her that will be posted at a later date! xo
LPC, it was an absolute honour to be placed in your company, loved your suggestions!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Cherest LPC,
Thank you not only for participating in the post chez moi with your stellar writing, humor and creativity, but also for the lovely mention above.
As you know, I'm hooked on your marvelous blog.
Tishx
I'll have to head over there and check it out; I always love to hear other's suggestions on gifts. I'm pretty well set and we're Supposedly getting a big storm hitting the islands tomorrow evening. Time for a fire and book….aaaahhh.
Enjoy your w/e!
Ahh, school is done and now I can concentrate on the last minute shopping, gifts and groceries. Decorating the tree tonight with family and ordering pizza!
Enjoy your posts, they really are a highlight to my day!
Have fun this weekend.
Ugh! Where were you before I hit South Coast Plaza tonight? Nothing at RL. Nothing at Nordies. I did slip into TB and scored for myself and then spent 3 hours if not more in the Chanel chair in denial I had further shopping to do. I left when the store closed but they announced that the Club House restaurant was having happy hour from 10 PM to midnight. Now that's the Christmas shopping payoff to me and if I didn't have to drive solo I might have gone. Speaking of bellying up to a bar, so glad you liked my beginnings. I also have to say the term "bellying up to a bar' just seems so wrong on your blog. :)
Have a great weekend. Oh, BTW, I visited some of your posts regarding your tiger attire and cubs. Very cute stuff. Son1 is applying to grad school there.
We may not have bellies, us High WASPS, but we sure know where the bar is. We tell ourselves its the Scottish heritage. Good luck for Son1 Pink. Princeton is a lovely place to spend some time. And for a tech guy it's downright heaven. Hope all goes well for those in the snow, that fireplaces warm and present acquisition proceeds apace.
