Right now I like what other people are writing so much that I think I’ll stay quiet and post their links.
- From Mardel, about clearing out her closet, optimizing, finding the sweet spot for where she lives now.
- From Brenda, an over-60 blogger new to me, becoming more visible over-65. (I think about writing a post on how I’m loving my invisibility-at-will, but, maybe another day.)
- From Drew Myron, poetic short piece about the small things in bigger life. (She spends some time with elders.)
- From Sue at High Heels In The Wilderness, empathy and reading, and how they are linked.
- The Committee For A Responsible Federal Budget put out a post about taxation rates of different types across the globe. (Link removed, can be found via Mr. Google if you are interested;).)
- Oh, and always, if you are on Facebook I recommend you follow Patti Digh. Funny, insightful, full of heart. And an excellent teller of stories.
Have a very nice weekend.
Just realized that I haven’t got the stomach for political discourse here today. Have edited my post accordingly.

How perfect! I was just thinking I needed some new blogs in my life.
@Laura, Happy to oblige!
Lisa,
Thank you!
What a treat to find my blog on YOUR blog. You are so kind to share my words.
With appreciation,
Drew
@Drew, My pleasure. Your words moved me.
Thank you for the link! I must admit to being tickled to finding a link to my blog, and even more so to find some other old friends and some new treasures.
@Mardel, My pleasure. I could absolutely envision your clothes, having met you, and I loved your new outfit.
I already follow Sue and Brenda and so enjoy them both. Just followed Patti on FB and bookmarked Mardel’s blog and have read her last two posts. Like! Thanks. :)
@Ann, I hope you enjoy the reads.
Me too – you hit two I already read, and I’m now adding another.
@Janie, <3
As always you are so kind, Lisa. Thanks for the link. The community of blog readers and writers I have encountered since I started writing my blog is wonderful. Intelligence, generosity, humour in abundance on the net if we know where to look:)
@Sue Burpee, You are very welcome. And it is ALL about knowing where to look. xox.
