For your people, is it Arbor Day or Labour Day today?
Enjoy your lovely garden and your weekend. Planting, puttering and so forth in the garden is a labor of love for me, not really work at all.
You have many special holidays over there, scattered around the year. And soon you are starting to talk about Thanksgiving ; ) I hope you have enjoyed the extra holiday!
Happy Labor Day! I finished all my planting for the year on Saturday and today am watching my X labor at pouring concrete and setting fence posts. I hope you are having as beautiful a day as we are.
What pretty pots of plants you have, m'dear. Great minds think alike, indeed.
Hey cool blog! Please visit my blog and tell me what you think about. I hope you'll be one of my followers.
I am curious…do you wear white after Labour Day? I do…
Hope that your weekend went well.
What a great way to spend Labor Day, I hope yours was lovely in and out of the garden!
x M.
I love Rudbeckia I have also planted them this year xx
hope you'd a good weekend and a greater week. :)
love from hong kong x
I grow coleus and alyssum herein Australia!!!! Alyssum from seed, coleus from cuttings, but they are so greedy for water that I lost a lot during the Fresh Hell that was known as Water Restrictions (crosses self/shudders at the horror).
I love clay pots, but do not have a green thumb. Wonderful peek into your garden. BarbaraG
Hope you had a nice weekend! xoxo SC
Labor Day planting? How wonderful. The season is winding down and planting now seems strange to those of us in New England. The only fall planting I do is in October – bulbs and other plants intended to winter over. Come to think of it, we do put out mums and ornamental cabbages until Thanksgiving, but they are rather boring and I like your pots so much more.
Mette – And don't forget Hallowe'en!
Staircase – Hope your fence turned out wonderfully.
Reggie – ;)
Luca – OK.
Hostess – Absolutely. I wear white whenever the mood strikes.
Michelle – Thank you. It was lovely.
Wilderness – I bet they look gorgeous.
Ash – Thank you!
FF – You are a goddess. I just buy little pots and stick them in the ground:).
Barbara – My pleasure.
Beth – xox
Gourmetmom – It's the best kept secret, September and October in Northern California…
